We can't do it without interpreters

Mirka-webMirka comes from the Czech community in Volhynia, but she has been living in Slaný for a long time. In addition to her first language, she also speaks Ukrainian. And that is very useful now because there is a huge shortage of interpreters in the current situation. That's why Mirka immediately rushed to work and uses her skill to help war refugees who come to Slaný and are looking for help. "In the Parish Charity office, we register each newcomer in the electronic system and find out exactly what they need. Consequently, they will receive tailor-made help," explained Mirka. The role of an interpreter is irreplaceable in this process.
